When are guided tours offered at the UN?Guided tours of the UN are offered on weekdays between 9:30 am and 4:45 pm. Visitors can check out the exhibits in the lobby and explore the bookstore and gift shop on weekends. The UN headquarters are closed on certain days and will not conduct tours. They are:
- 1 January New Year's Day
- 10 April Good Friday
- 25 May Memorial Day
- 26 May Eid al-Fitr (observed)
- 3 July Independence Day (observed)
- 31 July Eid al-Adha
- 7 September Labour Day
- 26 November Thanksgiving Day
- 25 December Christmas Day

What languages are tours of the UN headquarters available in?The UN headquarters tours are available in the six official languages apart from English. Some of these are German, Japanese, Korean, Italian, and Portuguese. Tours in Chinese, Spanish, and French are also offered on most days.
